Welcome to the second quarter! In World History this quarter, we will begin a new unit of study on the explorations, conquests, and expansions that occurred between 1400-1700. We will begin by examining the European explorers that were inspired by "gold, God, and glory" that sailed to many new lands with the aid of new technology.

Wednesday 10/15 - DBQ on Reformation due at the beginning of class.
Thursday 10/16 - Please read "Why Study History Through Primary Sources" and answer the seven questions that follow. This assignment is due at the beginning of class on Wednesday.
Friday 10/17 - Please read and take notes on 2.1 "Voyages of Discovery." We will have a quiz on this reading at the beginning of class on Friday. You may use your reading notes on the quiz.

Thursday 10/23 - "Faces of European Exploration" assignment due at the beginning of class. See the documents attached below. You may also use Fakebook to create your profile.
