Welcome to another week of World History! This week, we will continue with our studies of the Protestant Reformation period. We will also begin to examine the Catholic Church's response to the spread of Protestantism through a series of reforms known as the Counter-Reformation.
Please note this week's assignment schedule:
Tuesday 9/22 - Image Analysis" assignment due at the beginning of class. You are only required to complete Images A and B. (We will work on this assignment in class on Monday, so please do not start it beforehand).
Thursday 9/24 - Henry VIII Webquest due at the beginning of class. You will have time to work on this assignment during class time on Tuesday and Wednesday. You may bring an electronic device to class on these days to conduct research (if desired).
Note: Your final product for this Webquest will be a scrapbook on the life of King Henry VIII. You may create a physical or electronic scrapbook. For example, you may create a PDF that meets the project's requirements and email this to me before class on Thursday in place of a physical scrapbook.
Monday 9/29 - DBQ on the Reformation due at the beginning of class (We will work on this assignment in class on Thursday and Friday, so please do not start it beforehand). For this DBQ, you will annotate the documents, create an organizational chart, and write a thesis statement for each of the two questions. You are NOT required to write a full essay.
