Bonjour! Over the next few weeks in World History, we will begin an exciting unit on the French Revolution. We will commence by analyzing the revolution's roots in political, economic, and social unrest. Additionally, we will re-examine the ideals of the Enlightenment era, paying close attention to the large scale changes that occurred in France between 1789 and 1799.

Wednesday 2/11 - Reading and Cornell notes on 6.1 "The Revolution Begins" due at the beginning of class.
Friday 2/13 - Reading and Cornell notes on 6.2 "The Republic" due at the beginning of class.
Wednesday 2/18 - Reading and Cornell notes on 6.3 "Napoleon's Europe" due at the beginning of class.
Thursday 2/19 - World of 7 Billion Video due before school begins.
Friday 2/20 - Reading and Cornell notes on 6.4 "Napoleon's Fall and Europe's Reaction" due as the beginning of class.
Thursday 2/26 - Political cartoon or article on the French Revolution due at the beginning of class (this should be finished in class on Wednesday).
Wednesday 3/4 - Questions on "The French Revolution" - Reign of Terror due at the beginning of class (this should be finished in class on Tuesday.)
Monday 3/9 - Newspaper on the French Revolution due at the beginning of class. The description of and rubric for this assignment will be distributed in class on Monday 3/2. *Please note this will count as a project grade and take the place of a test for this unit. You will have time to work on the project in the computer lab on Wednesday 3/4 and Friday 3/6.
